The three plans

Every new account starts on the Trial: 30 days with 2,500 credits and full access to everything, the Project Architect, Amend, verification, Figma, and the CLI and MCP. The trial is granted once per person and is single-user; inviting teammates needs Pro.
When the 30 days end, nothing is lost. Your org moves to the Free plan: 500 credits a month, one active project, and the latest spec version. All your work stays exactly where it was, and upgrading to Pro turns everything back on.
What Pro adds
Section titled “What Pro adds”- The Project Architect, the consulting chat that drafts your gates. On Free you write gates directly, starting at the Project Brief.
- Amend, batch changes to a published spec as new versions.
- Verification, the opt-in pass that checks built work against acceptance criteria.
- Figma, design references and screen sync.
- Version history, browse earlier spec versions (Free sees only the latest).
- Teams, invite members; every seat adds 5,000 credits to the shared pool.
- Top-ups, buy extra credits when a month runs hot.
Credits
Section titled “Credits”Credits are how usage is measured: gate drafts, Architect chats, reviews, and generation all draw from your org’s credit balance. Behind the scenes one credit covers 400 AI tokens, but you never need to think in tokens, every surface shows credits.
Credits are pooled across the organization. A five-seat Pro team shares one 25,000-credit monthly pool rather than five separate buckets.
Top-up packs (Pro)
Section titled “Top-up packs (Pro)”If a month runs hot, buy a credit pack. Packs are one-time purchases, are spent only after your monthly pool, and carry over month to month.

Running out
Section titled “Running out”When your org’s credits are exhausted, generation pauses and you’ll see a paywall instead of the next response. Nothing is lost, and your existing spec, repo connection, and data all stay readable.
- Free: wait for the monthly reset, or upgrade to Pro.
- Trial: upgrade to Pro. The trial grant doesn’t refill.
- Pro: buy a top-up pack, or add seats.
Managing your subscription
Section titled “Managing your subscription”Owners and admins manage the plan from Settings → Usage & Billing. Manage opens the billing portal (update card, view invoices, cancel). Seats reconcile automatically to your accepted member count, with prorated billing when people join or leave.
A failed payment marks the org past_due and emails you; access continues while Stripe retries. Have a promotion code? Enter it at checkout.
Edge cases

- Comped orgs get Pro with no charge and no blocking, managed by a CubeDot admin.
