Create your first project

Creating the project

From the project hub, choose New project, give it a name and (optionally) a description, and create it. A fresh project drops you on the start chooser, the “How do you want to start?” screen. Until you pick an option here, opening the project returns you to this chooser.

Start from scratch

Pick Start from scratch to open the Project Architect, the orchestrator that helps you define your idea and drafts the first gate. (Import from an existing project is coming soon.)

How defined is your project?

Before anything else, the Architect asks you to place your project on a five-stop scale, from Looking for ideas (“starting from scratch, no idea what I’m building yet”) to Fully defined, ready for development. This isn’t a quiz; it sets how the Architect works with you:

Early levels: it consults. It helps you find and sharpen the idea, and records each decision you make along the way so nothing is lost.
Later levels: it gets to work. It starts drafting your Project Brief from what you give it.

Every decision made during this phase feeds directly into the brief, so time spent here isn’t a detour.

Two ways in

On a brand-new project the Architect doesn’t auto-ask a wall of questions. You have two ways to start:

Describe your product in the chat. A sentence is enough to start.
Upload documents, briefs, notes, specs, screenshots. The Architect reads them and drafts your Project Brief from what it finds.

After the brief

Once the Project Brief is committed, the next gate unlocks. Work down the list on the right; each gate reads from the ones above it. See The ten gates for the full sequence.
